The signposted, rural tour through the gently undulating cultural landscape connects the Widukind town of Enger and Spenge with the Hücker Moor in a very scenic circular route.

This rural circular route through the gently undulating cultural landscape between Enger and Spenge offers culture and relaxation in peaceful surroundings. The Widukind town of Enger is the start and finish point of this circular route. The Widukind Museum, the tannery and the small railway museum await your visit here. The highlight of the tour is the Hücker Moor, which invites you to linger in the beer garden or go rowing on the Hücker Moor lake. The route leads through numerous village settlements and past historic farms, such as the Sattelmeierhof Meyer zu Hücker. There are no steep climbs to overcome, but due to the length of the route, you should be in a certain level of fitness for this circular route.

The tour runs for the most part on asphalted farm tracks without any significant car traffic or on independent cycle paths. Only on a total of 2.5 km must higher traffic loads be expected.

An alternative starting point for cyclists from Bielefeld is Jöllenbeck. Parking is available here at the cemetery (Schwagerstraße).

Further information on the route and the waypoints can be found on the Herford district cycling leisure website: www.fahr-im-kreis.de.
