Bad Holzhausen has been authorised to use the epithet ‘bad’ since 2007. This makes the traditional farmer's spa with its healing springs the youngest spa in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Under the motto ‘Floral splendour and forest idyll’, the State Garden Show presented a unique experience. Magnificent flower arrangements and a newly staged forest backdrop with decades-old trees attracted 593,651 visitors to Bad Lippspringe.

The Salzuflen State Spa celebrates ‘200 years of the Princely Brine Spa’ and presents the Salzufler salt for refining dishes, which is boiled from the Salzufler brine, in the anniversary year.
