Steinbecker Mühle

Monument
The watermill on the Bolldammbach was a "forced mill"
The disused but fully operational watermill on the Bolldammbach was built in 1723 as a "forced mill". Farmers from the Enger area were obliged to have their grain ground here as "forced mill guests".

This process ensured additional income for the owner of the mills, usually the sovereign.
