Saturday, September 19 - "Science Day—STEM Shapes the Future"

11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The Nature and Technology Association presents interactive activities and experiments in collaboration with St. Xaver High School, Bad Driburg Comprehensive School, the University of Paderborn, OWL University of Applied Sciences, Phönix Contact, and the Forschermobil.

Live music:
6:00 p.m. Flight69—Bryan Adams Tribute Band     
The “Flight69” crew takes over the stage and performs Bryan Adams’ greatest hits with explosive rock, but the musicians also have laid-back riffs, ballads, and guitar solos up their sleeves. Inspired by personal encounters with the Canadian global superstar, “Flight69” has been covering Bryan Adams with impressive authenticity for 15 years.

8:00 p.m. CON JODIE - Bon Jovi Tribute Band
Starting at 8:00 p.m., the next big tribute band will ensure a lively atmosphere. The seven-piece band CON JODIE brings Bon Jovi’s greatest rock hits to the stage with their catchy melodies and choruses that have the crowd singing along. But you’ve rarely heard Bon Jovi songs like this before, as legendary anthems like “It’s My Life” are performed by two women.

Sunday, September 20 – “Volunteer Day”

This year, Sunday is dedicated to expressing gratitude for the dedicated civic engagement in Bad Driburg.

11:00 a.m. Honoring the recipients of the Heimatpreis, the Volunteer Work Award  Work, and the City Cycling Campaign by Mayor Tobias Tölle

The ceremony will be accompanied by music from the Bad Driburg Music School.

2:00 p.m. Bad Driburg Town Band

4:00 p.m. "Pure Senses"—live music that is understated yet still leaves a lasting impression.

Glass City Market with glassblowers
Bad Driburg’s history is closely linked to glass production and the glass trade, which is why the centerpiece of the festival is a colorful Glass City Market featuring arts and crafts and regional products, offering visitors a number of unique treats. The stand of glassblower Hans Hader from Petershagen is particularly exciting; he creates artistic glass objects live on site using fire, sand, and imagination. Other artists offer recycled jewelry made from old glass, glass bead jewelry, or decorative items made of glass and other materials. 

At the Glass Museum is hosting a special exhibition titled  “Dazzling Wonders of Color – Fabulous Worlds of Glass” by Otmar Alt.

The Glass Museum is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the Glass City Festival.
Admission is free.
