Turntable kaleidoscope: The starting point of the Bad Driburg Kaleidoscope Trail
The turntable kaleidoscope is equipped with a colorful turntable. The image that you have generated with the turntable can be viewed again and again in fragments through the kaleidoscope.The turntable kaleidoscope is part of the Kaleidoscope Trail and is located directly at the starting point with information board in front of the Bad Driburg leisure pool.
About the Kaleidoscope Trail:
The interplay of colored glass and light has always fascinated us humans. With kaleidoscopes, this fascination - and thus also part of Bad Driburg's cultural history - can be experienced in a playful way. On the Kaleidoscope Trail, eight locations with giant kaleidoscopes of various designs invite children and adults to play with light and glass.
The 5.8-kilometre circular trail starts at the leisure pool and can be divided into two loops of 2.5 kilometers (northern loop / Rosenberg) and 3.3 kilometers (southern loop / Arboretum). As you hike along the well-maintained, well-marked paths with destination signposts, you will be treated to magnificent views of the Teutoburg Forest / Eggegebirge Nature Park landscape time and again.

From the B64, take the second exit in the direction of Bad Driburg (Brakeler Straße) and then turn right into Brunnenstraße. Follow this road until you reach the outdoor pool. The turntable kaleidoscope and an information board are located to the right of the outdoor pool. There are plenty of parking spaces available.
By bus:
From Bad Driburg station, take the R75 bus in the direction of Nieheim/ZOB for about 6 minutes to the "Freibad Bad Driburg" stop. The turntable kaleidoscope and an information board are located right next to the outdoor pool.
