Voices International Festival of Voices

The VOICES Festival is undoubtedly one of the best-known and most popular series of events in East Westphalia-Lippe. One reason for this is certainly the varied and artistically highly attractive program, which is aimed at many  culture lovers and leaves elitist classical concerts far behind. There are large orchestral concerts as well as recitals, musical cabaret, jazz, pop, musicals, family concerts and chamber music.

VOICES inspires many artists who enjoy moving from the stages of the world to rural Westphalia. Singers such as Hanno Müller-Brachmann, Anne Schwanewilms, Michaela Schuster, Mojca Erdmann, Christiane Oelze, Anna Prohaska and Benjamin Appl, pianists such as Alfredo Perl, Martin Stadtfeld, Matthias Kirschnereit, James Baillieu, Eric Schneider, Manuel Lange, Jeremy and Mookie Menuhin, cabaret artists such as Tina Teubner and Pago Balke and actresses Eva Mattes and Juliane Köhler are just some of those who appreciate and love the relaxed, cozy and informal atmosphere on the von der Borch family estate.
