The small viewing platform offers a view over the surrounding area of Nieheim in a northerly to north-easterly direction.

You can see the Schwalenberg Forest and the Köterberg in the district of Lippe and, to the east, the Brakeler Bergland with the Weserbergland/Solling in the background. On the left is the Lattberg tower near Entrup, which was completed in 2012. In front of the Köterberg you can see the top of the Hungerberg tower near Marienmünster.
