Schlosskonzert im Wasserschloss Heerse

The moated castle in Neuenheerse is a very special tourist highlight in the town of Bad Driburg. It is home to the United Museums with an incomparable treasure trove of almost 30,000 exhibits.

After last year's great success, the Schröder Cultural Foundation would once again like to attract culturally interested listeners with a major concert on Whit Saturday, 23 May. May 2026 at 5 pm on the open space between the moated castle and gatehouse in Neuenheerse.

What could be better suited to such a magnificent, historic setting than a powerful-sounding, modern wind orchestra with a diverse musical concept? The board has therefore once again organized the Altenbeken Railway Orchestra, which fills entire concert halls in our region. All music lovers are cordially invited to listen to the great arrangements of well-known melodies for around 2.5 hours and then join us for a cozy end to the event with snacks and drinks. If the weather is not suitable, the concert will take place in the collegiate church.
