The starting point of the popular running trail near the fish ponds is close to the playground. There is an electronic time display and an information board with an overview map and special training recommendations for beginners. In addition to the 2000-metre running trail, which is illuminated in the evening until 11 p.m., other routes are indicated on the information board. These are marked with color-coded signs.

Take the highway A 33 to the exit "Pad.-Zentrum"; then keep in the direction of Paderborn city center. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left into Heinz-Nixdorf-Ring. Then turn right at the seventh set of traffic lights into Dubelohstraße.
By public transportation:
Take the city bus lines 14, 16 (PaderSprinter) to the "Abzweig Fischteiche" stop.
