The LandesGartenSchau route runs right through the cultural region of Westphalia with a variety of landscaped and nature conservation areas as well as artistically designed parks with great play opportunities. The first 50 kilometers include three state garden show sites with magnificent and artistically designed park landscapes:
- Paderborn-Schloß Neuhaus castle and meadow park (1994)
- Gartenschaupark Rietberg (2008)
- Flora Westfalica in Rheda Wiedenbrück (1988)
The LandesGartenSchau route connects the three large and attractive parks with an attractive route for cyclists. The entire route is well signposted and leads from Paderborn via Delbrück and Rietberg to Rheda-
Wiedenbrück. Along the way, the local gastronomy invites you to linger and enjoy the changing seasonal dishes. As there are virtually no inclines along the entire route, the LandesGartenSchau route is particularly suitable for families with children. The parks are family-friendly and invite you to take mini and maxi breaks with themed playgrounds for the "little ones".
