The fish ponds, which are surrounded by mature trees, serve as a local recreation area for the people of Paderborn with extensive walking paths and a playground. The six ponds are fed by an artesian well near the playground. The water rises to the surface from a depth of around 100 m from the limestone through a pipeline without pumps.
Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the floodlit jogging trail, the mini golf course and the climbing park. A restaurant invites you to linger.Good to know

Take the highway A 33 to the exit "Pad.-Zentrum"; then keep in the direction of Paderborn city center. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left into Heinz-Nixdorf-Ring. Then turn right at the seventh set of traffic lights into Dubelohstraße.

Take the city bus line 14, 16 (PaderSprinter) to the stop "Abzweig Fischteiche".
