Located halfway between the city center and Schloß Neuhaus, Lake Padersee is very popular with walkers and joggers. It was created at the end of the 1970s as a flood retention basin to protect the Schloß Neuhaus district on the one hand and for recreational purposes on the other. With a length of around one kilometer, it is particularly popular with walkers and joggers. Children love the adventure playground with swings and slides.
