The café is located in the former Stümpel's Mill, which was built in 1810. The building, along with the museum and water wheel, is managed by the Biohaus Foundation. The waterwheel is used to generate environmentally friendly electricity, which we also use in the café. Modern glass and steel elements complement the historic half-timbering and quarry stone.
