Kunstverein Bielefeld

Museum/Exhibition
The Kunstverein Bielefeld is dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art and current social issues.
The Museum Waldhof is located in one of the oldest buildings in the city, a 16th century aristocratic courtyard in the Weser Renaissance style.
Five exhibitions a year focus on current art productions in the media of painting, photography and graphics, installation, video art and architecture. Young artists from Germany and abroad who have not yet or have just been discovered by the international art scene are exhibited.
The museum is run by the Bielefelder Kunstverein. Founded in 1929, it now has more than 1000 members.
