The Park of Human Rights is a particularly pleasant place to be on hot summer days. A few years ago, the Lutter, Bielefeld's river, most of which still runs underground, was uncovered here. There is also a children's playground and several sculptures in the park. Among other things, there is also the Ich-Denkmal. The monument consists of a pedestal made of red Eifel sandstone, which is erected without a statue. Instead of lifting people from contemporary history onto a pedestal, visitors can present themselves here as a work of art.
