The Kultur- und Heimathaus houses original treasures from Borgholzhausen and the surrounding area. These include the world's largest collection of Cretaceous giant ammonites and the 240-million-year-old dinosaur ferries. Permanent exhibitions by local artists can also be seen there.

Together with the Heimatverein , the cultural association maintains the museum in the center of the town. The Deele of the listed Ackerbürgerhaus also serves as a meeting and event room. In addition to the permanent exhibition with a historical photo studio, there are also special exhibitions by Borgholzhausen artists. The world's largest collection of giant ammonites and the 240-million-year-old dinosaur tracks are sensational. Guided tours by appointment by telephone.
