Hörstation 73 Kiepenkerl

Information point

Welcome to the gingerbread town of Borgholzhausen

Good day, my name is Kiepenkerl...

When the scent of coriander, ginger, cloves and nutmeg wafts through Borgholzhausen, everyone knows why it is called the gingerbread town. Heinrich Schulze founded the traditional gingerbread bakery here over 180 years ago. And he was already supplying the region's major fairs with sweet baked goods with a pannier on his back.

At this listening station, you will learn all about our Kiepenkerl and the delicious gingerbread from Borgholzhausen.
