Historisches Rathaus Dringenberg

historical building
City Hall/Citizens’ services

The historic town hall in Dringenberg, parts of which are almost 700 years old, will be preserved and protected in the long term in the interests of monument conservation.

Between 2002 and 2005, the building was renovated and repaired with the help of various grants, donations and countless hours of voluntary work.

As a result of this commitment, several rooms in the building are available for use. The vaulted cellar and the first floor are available for conferences, smaller celebrations and other events. The upper floor is used by the art and culture association ARTD Driburg for its own activities, but especially for exhibitions. The exhibitions can be viewed on Saturdays from 14:00-17:00 and on Sundays and public holidays from 14:00-17:30.

From the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October and during Advent, the café team offers coffee and home-baked cake alongside the exhibitions in the castle and town hall.
