South of Hakenberg, a moorland landscape with unique flora and fauna has been preserved here.
There is a viewing platform at the edge of the marsh. From there, you can observe the landscape without entering the protected areas. If you visit early in the morning and are patient, you might be lucky enough to spot various animals. Black storks can also be seen here during the summer months.
