Until 1904, the town hall was located here, today the "Theater am Alten Markt" invites you to enjoy performances worth seeing. You can take a relaxing break in one of the many cafés and restaurants while strolling through the town. The lovingly restored historic façades and magnificent gables make a special impression, especially the Crüwell House with its late Gothic stepped gable from 1530. Its entrance in the small Piggenstraße leads to a very special treasure: around 7000 Delft tiles from the 16th to 18th centuries in the stairwell tell of days gone by.
