The tour takes you behind the gates We begin our search for clues at the Künstlerhaus Kroe with its magnificent gardens. Here you will discover how the Krömmelbein family lived amidst the paintings. From there, we continue to the Catholic church and on to the Bürgerpark and town hall as far as the church square. Another highlight is the Protestant church with its works of art such as the altar from 1501, the baptismal font from the Renaissance and the organ. The tour ends with a visit to the Heimathaus, including the photographic legacy of the Borgholzhausen Schumacher family from three generations.
Other traces off our route are the "Daun Town" studios, Johannes Schepp's Brincker Mühle, the summer academy and theater performances in the Bönker quarry.
