Be enchanted by moated castles, manor houses and former aristocratic residences on your tour and combine the cycle tour on the theme of "nobility" with the sporting challenge of the route, which runs over the Teuto ridge and through the Ravensberg hills.

Start at the baroque moated castle of Tatenhausen and soon cycle through the rustling Tatenhausen Forest, past the idyllic Stockkämpen forest chapel to the parking lot at Holtfeld moated castle. Take a look at the magnificent Weser Renaissance façade.

The old farming community of Hesseln follows and the fortified Ravensberg Castle greets you at the Teutoburg Forest. The route continues through the Ravensberg hills to the gingerbread town of Borgholzhausen. The moated Brincke Castle in the Barnhausen district is a two-island complex worth seeing, consisting of a manor house, castle chapel, gatehouse, farm buildings, courtyard house and castle walls.

The tour now takes you directly to the historic center of the Böckstiegel town of Werther (Westphalia). Follow the signs to visit the "Haus Werther" citizens' meeting place, formerly a manor and aristocratic residence. After passing through Werther, you will tackle a short, strenuous climb up to the ridge of the Teutoburg Forest. Reward yourself with a spectacular view of the Münster lowlands. The Linden city of Halle-Westphalia lies at your feet.

You cycle through Eggeberger Schweiz with a refreshing breeze down to the former district town. The "Haller Herz", a unique half-timbered ensemble around the 13th-century Johanniskirche church, is your last stop before you cycle back to the moated castle of Tatenhausen.
