Rodehuths Kapelle

Church

The small chapel is located in the district of Espeln and is privately owned.

The Rodehuth family rebuilt the small wayside chapel in 1950. Its predecessor from 1794 stood around 150 meters to the east on Espelner Straße. It was blown up by the Wehrmacht during the retreat in 1945. Before Espeln received its own church, the first services were also celebrated there. Today, a large wooden cross still commemorates the site.
