Herz-Jesu-Kirche Espeln

Church
The small church with an onion dome is located in the Hövelhof district of Espeln.

The foundation stone for the construction of the first church in Espeln was laid in June 1899, and it was consecrated in January 1900. The mother parish of Espeln is Ostenland. The larger transverse extension at the back dates from 1932, and the current bell tower was added in 1936. The interior of the church was redesigned after 1957.
