Pestfriedhof im Mittelholz bei Paderborn-Neuenbeken

Cemetery
The plague cemetery is located south-east of Neuenbeken.
Around 2.5 kilometers south-east of Neuenbeken, in the "Mittelholz", lies the plague cemetery from the 17th century. Several old gravestones and the 4.50-metre-high oak cross commemorate the numerous plague deaths during the Thirty Years' War. The current cross was erected in 2010 to replace the one from 1950, which had become rotten.
