347 meters above sea level
Paderborn's highest elevation is located in a spruce forest on the Mittelberg, only around 300 meters from the Altenbeken municipal boundary. At 347 meters above sea level, it is almost 230 meters higher than the cathedral square in the city centre. A "summit cross" (with summit book!) marks the location of this highest point in Paderborn.
