The Rehberghütte, a worthwhile destination near the former optical telegraph station on the Rehberg, is easily accessible by car. The starting point is Bad Driburg (zip code 33014). From there, first take Dringenberger Straße and follow it via Lange Straße to Pyrmonter Straße - a short distance of around 800 meters, which can be covered in around 3 minutes.
Then continue along Pyrmonter Straße and take the L954, Altenbekener Straße and L755 in the direction of Altenbeken. This stretch of around 9.2 kilometers takes around 10 minutes. In Altenbeken, turn right onto Eggeweg - after just 34 meters you will reach the Rehberghütte.
From here, you can explore the charming surroundings of the Teutoburg Forest as well as the historic site of the telegraph station.
