On your hike, you will pass the Ochsenberg natural forest cell, a forest area of over 18 hectares that has not been managed for years. Natural forest cells are used for scientific research and provide ecologically valuable, rare habitats for deadwood and old-growth communities. The huge fields of wild garlic in spring are impressive and turn your hike into an experience for the nose and eyes.
