Our Eggewald campsite is located in the Eggegebirge and southern Teutoburg Forest Nature Park between Horn-Bad Meinberg and Altenbeken, conveniently situated at the beginning of the Durbeketal valley, a romantic meadow valley surrounded by beautiful mixed forest.

Our campsite is the starting point for excursions to the nearby spas of Bad Meinberg, Bad Driburg, Bad Lippspringe, the famous Externsteine and the Hermannsdenkmal with its climbing garden.
Other excursion destinations - eagle observatory in Berlebeck, flower and bird park in Heiligenkirchen, Westphalian-Lippe open-air museum in Detmold, Köterberg...or simply relax - just laze around - enjoy the beautiful nature... Everything is possible here!
