A drinking hall was built in 1925/26 specifically for the Kaiser-Karls spring, which was first mentioned in 1869 and recaptured in 1922. However, the spring's flow proved to be insufficient and it eventually dried up. A new use had to be found. After the end of the Second World War, the drinking hall was used by the spa administration for cultural events, among other things. However, the building continued to deteriorate, so that it could only be used as a huge storage room.
In 1983, the decision had already been made to demolish it when tradition-conscious citizens made its preservation possible. After extensive renovation, the hall was reopened in 1986. Since then, it has been used by the town and clubs for representative events of various kinds. Civil weddings are also possible here.
