As a climatic health resort and state-approved spa, Bad Lippspringe is an ideal vacation destination for people with respiratory diseases. Thanks to its sheltered location on the western edge of the Egge Mountains and the high level of air purity, the town has been awarded the additional title of "Premium Class" by the German Association of Climatic Health Resorts. In the spa forest close to the town and in the spa parks, many flat paths with benches and shortcuts invite you to go hiking and walking.

Inexperienced hikers or people with illnesses should consult a qualified therapist before setting off. Further information is available at the therapy center of the Medical Center for Health.

Take your time to explore the old Bad Lippspring spa forest with its special healing climate. At some of the stations, you can find out about the right breathing technique for everyday life and sporting activities.

The town is currently preparing for the major event "Landesgartenschau 2017". Parts of the spa forest and the Kaiser-Karls-Park are being redesigned and are therefore not accessible.

The longest hike follows the Planet Trail through Bad Lippspringe. The paths are flat, easy to walk on and very green despite the proximity to the town: you walk through the Jordanpark, along the Thune past the Dedinger-Heide-See, as well as the extensive spa forest, the Strothetal and the Arminiuspark.
