It was known early on in Lippspringe that today's healing forest, favored by its stand of pine and mixed forest, develops a "healing climate". Old photos taken towards the end of the 19th century still show loungers and hammocks stretched between the trees where spa guests could relax.

Today, the healing forest with its approx. 25 km of slope-free hiking trails and numerous benches offers relaxation for everyone. The Mersmannteiche and Strothesee lakes in the middle of the spa forest are popular walking destinations. The Peace Chapel in the middle of the garden show grounds is a special haven of peace. Visitors can spend a few relaxing moments there.
