The Chapel of Peace is located within the Garden Show grounds, which are subject to admission.

It is an oasis of tranquillity and reflection, a place of prayer and inner contemplation - it is a centerpiece of the Bad Lippspringe Garden Show. The Chapel of Peace was inaugurated in 1987 in the Bad Lippspringe spa forest and has exerted a magnetic attraction on visitors ever since. From the chapel, visitors to the Bad Lippspringe Garden Show have a very beautiful view of the dune valley, the sunbathing area, the Mersmann ponds and the magnificent forest backdrop.

The religious gem also blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape architecturally. The Chapel of Peace is a joint project of the two local Kolping families in cooperation with a specially founded building association. The chapel houses relics of the Swiss peace saint Klaus von der Flüe and the "journeyman father" Adolph Kolping. A large number of constantly burning candles confirm the continued great religious significance of the house of prayer. A wayside shrine in front of the chapel has existed for several decades. It was incorporated into the grounds next to the chapel.
