Built in 1825 by Prince Leopold II as a court theater, the Detmolder Landestheater today has 4 venues and entertains its visitors with drama, opera and ballet

In addition to 4 different venues, the Detmolder Landestheater exports its diverse entertainment culture to cities throughout the German-speaking world, as the Detmold ensemble is one of the largest traveling stages in Europe.
