Get to know the versatile, modern mill cuisine. Head chef Holger Lemke is the creative head of the mill team. He breathes a whole new character into seasonal and forgotten products from the region through various preparation methods.
Enjoy lunch in the stylish ambience of the mill or look forward to an atmospheric candlelit dinner. In summer, the fantastic terrace invites you to linger and enjoy!

As part of the "Westfälisch genießen" initiative, the Windmühle stands for high culinary quality with regional products in an authentic ambience.
The Windmühle's kitchen has been awarded the coveted "Bib Gourmand" and the restaurant is recommended in Slow Food's 2024 Guide to Indulgence.
The Fissenknick windmill is a historical gem in the village of Fissenknick near Bad Meinberg. This mill was built in the 14th century.
It is a good example of how a historic building can be put to a new use.
In this case, it has been particularly successful. Birgit and Holger Lemke look forward to welcoming you in person to enjoy the unique mill romance and the mill cuisine.
