Monument
Wilhelm Rebbe (1899-1988) is a Meinberg personality who worked in a variety of functions, often in an honorary capacity.
In September 2001, Wilhelm Rebbe, the most recent creation of the "1000 Years of Meinberg" association, was given his place in bronze on a granite plinth (artist: Jacob Wedel).

He came from a dynasty of teachers and was himself active as a teacher and principal in Bad Meinberg for almost 45 years.

He was also mayor of the independent municipality of Bad Meinberg for many years, choirmaster, organist, chairman of the spa and tourist association, registrar, member of the district council and honorary chairman of the 1000 Years of Meinberg Association.
