A technical masterpiece
"Piel's Mühle" impresses with its unique appearance: the vintage mill is planked with poplar wood and has two side pockets as well as a right-turning sail wing. A comprehensive renovation between 1989 and 1992 brought the mill back to full functionality. Today, three different grinding gears grind here again: the grist gear with a doubled comb wheel and spur wheels, the flour gear with a bag box and a sleet gear. Technology freaks and interested visitors are guaranteed to find what they are looking for here!
An experience for young and old
A visit to the mill is an exciting experience, especially for children. They can experience live how the flour for their snack is made from grain. On the popular milling and baking days, the mill group will treat their guests to home-baked cakes in two rustic, former half-timbered barns.
Historical discoveries in the barn attic
After a refreshment, visitors can browse through the attic of one of the barns and explore an interesting collection of historical household, craft and work tools. History comes to life here and can be experienced up close.
