Being on the move together, step by step through the diverse landscapes of East Westphalia, with time to arrive, observe, and breathe. Once a month, these guided dog hikes lead to special places in the region – to the Iron Anton, the Hermann monument, Sparrenburg Castle, or along the literary hiking trail in Lage-Hörste. The routes, lasting about 1.5 hours, connect nature, history, and relaxed movement at a pace that allows space for both dog and human. Socially compatible dogs that enjoy being in a small group are welcome. Dogs that need a bit more distance can also participate with prior arrangement. This creates a calm, manageable hiking group where everyone can feel safe and comfortable. The dog hikes invite you to rediscover OWL – with an eye for the essentials, in community, and with your own dog by your side.
