Bad Salzufler Weihnachtstraum

The historic old town of Bad Salzuflen transforms from November 23 to December 30 into a romantic backdrop for the Christmas Dream - one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Westphalia. Lovingly decorated wooden pavilions create a picturesque Advent season amid magnificent half-timbered houses. The 12 m high Christmas pyramid in the Salzhof serves as both a focal point and meeting place. Hand-carved figures tirelessly spin around, while beneath them, winemaker mulled wine, egg punch, or Christmas beer tempt visitors.

On the stages at the Schliepsteiner Gate and on the Salzhof, a colorful program of Christmas and children's songs as well as pop hits will be presented. 

In addition, traditional artisans such as a Christmas tree ornament painter and a woodcarver will showcase their skills. Werner Korzen will once again be live carving birdhouses from tree trunks with a chainsaw. Of course, the Bad Salzuflen retail trade invites you to shop throughout the entire Advent season and will additionally be open on two shopping Sundays for you.

The opening hours of the Christmas market are daily from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (9:30 p.m. on Saturdays), also on December 26 (exceptions: December 24: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., December 25 closed).
