Located just 500 meters from the pedestrian zone and a few meters from the nearest restaurants, the city centre can be explored on foot from Maspernplatz. The "Schwimmoper" (indoor swimming pool with sauna area) is located directly opposite Maspernplatz and the Paderwiesen, the meeting point in summer for sunbathing, playing frisbee etc., starts only about 300 meters away.
