Spend the night in St. Michael's Monastery

Special accommodation
Number of beds: 7
St. Michael's Monastery in Paderborn is not only a spiritual and historical place in the center of the city, but also offers valuable overnight accommodation for guests seeking peace, quiet and a contemplative atmosphere.
Monastic guest rooms:
St. Michael's Monastery has its own guest area, which is deliberately designed to be simple and friendly. Here, visitors can spend a time of peace, prayer and reflection - ideal for pilgrims, those interested in spirituality, solo travelers or simply people who want to escape the noise of everyday life. The accommodation is located in nearby parts of the monastery and includes several single rooms:

Seven single rooms are available to guests, two of which are en suite in the renovated monastery area and a further five in a directly attached building.
The atmosphere is deliberately kept simple to avoid distraction and to enable a monastic experience. There is also a kitchen in the guest area, which can be used by guests for partial or full self-catering.

Catering & Community
During your stay, you can share meals with other guests in the monastery's guest refectory - this encourages interaction and community. Alternatively, the kitchen is available for self-catering. The cost of accommodation and meals is usually agreed individually.

Spiritual environment
A stay in the monastery is more than just an overnight stay:
You are invited to take part in the community's hourly prayers and church services, take quiet walks along the Pader river or simply enjoy the peace and quiet in the monastery courtyard. For many guests, this is a valuable opportunity for inner reflection and spiritual orientation.
