Opened in 2005, the memorial, documentation and meeting place in the former police prison of the town hall (back of the town hall) commemorates the minorities persecuted in the town and district of Herford and documents the GESTAPO terror during the National Socialist dictatorship.

Directions & Parking facilities

The memorial is located at the back of the town hall.

Parking spaces can be found, for example, opposite the district court. There is also a bus stop near the Technical Town Hall.

It is 650 meters on foot from the train station.
