Next to the water treading pool, visitors can see the spring from which the pool is fed. This idyllic spot with its numerous benches invites you to picnic and linger.The pool is filled with water from spring to autumn.

Water treading is a hydrotherapy treatment method and the best-known Kneipp application, in which you move through the water treading pool in a stork walk for approx. 30 seconds. This process is repeated several times. After treading water, the feet are not dried, but you take a few steps to warm them up. Treading water stimulates the circulation and promotes arterial blood flow.

The starting point is Bad Driburg (zip code 33014). From there, first take Dringenberger Straße and Lange Straße to Pyrmonter Straße - this section takes about 3 minutes (approx. 800 meters).
Then follow Pyrmonter Straße and continue via Nordfeldmark, L954, Im Lerchenfeld and K9 until you reach August-Sommer-Straße. This route takes about 9 minutes (approx. 6.7 km).
Once there, the idyllic water treading pool awaits you - ideal for Kneipp therapy, relaxing and enjoying nature.
By bus:
If you would like to travel by bus to the treading pool in Pömbsen, take the R75 line in Bad Driburg in the direction of Nieheim, ZOB. One possible bus stop is "Bad Driburg, Rathaus".
Get off at the stop "B.D.-Pömbsen, Dr.-Gotthard-Straße". Get off there - from here it is only a 5-minute walk to the treading pool.
