Treehouse by Nicholas von der Borch. Suspended by ropes 10 meters above the ground, this treehouse is built to wrap around the tree. A pulley system makes it possible to raise and lower the 1,400 kg treehouse up and down the trunk using only muscle power, without damaging the tree (currently off-limits).

Materials: wood, iron, synthetic ropes; size: approx. 4 meters in diameter.

Nicholas von der Borch, born in 1967 in Australia, lives and works in Fontainebleau, France.
