The Rudolf-Oetker-Halle has served as Bielefeld's musical center for over 90 years. The concert hall was built and still exists for the sole purpose of bringing music to life and sharing the joy of it.
Dedicated to the memory of the Oetker family's son who died in the First World War and his comrades, it has enriched the music scene in East Westphalia and beyond since 1930. When the idea of a concert hall for Bielefeld was born, it was also intended as a home for the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra
Great musicians and conductors see the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle as an acoustic masterpiece. The sound experience of this concert hall attracts world-class soloists, ensembles and orchestras. But not only renowned musicians come to Bielefeld, up-and-coming artists and Bielefeld music clubs also perform here.
