Museum/Exhibition
The German Police Museum in the historic Salzkotten station building displays police-specific exhibits from all federal states, the Federal Border Guard, the railroad police and the East German People's Police. The timeline ranges from the 19th century to the current decade.

Parents and children alike will be amazed by the large number of exhibits, as countless individual items relating to German police history have been brought together here.

Old uniforms and helmets, vehicles and equipment are on display - including the first radar device, a tracked explosives robot, radios and much more. A collection of caps from all over the world can also be admired.

The museum is connected to a bistro called "Davidswache". Here, families can round off their visit to the museum with snacks and drinks.
