Park Bad Hermannsborn

Park/gardens
The neo-baroque spa gardens were created between 1924-25 according to plans by garden architect Richard Hartnauer from Leverkusen;

A walk through colors, water and shapes

The main design elements of the 18-hectare park are the central driveway with the chestnut avenue, the large flower traffic circle in the middle of the park as well as the gate buildings at the entrance and the historic main building, which are reminiscent of Baroque palace buildings. The lower section of the park makes a lovely impression with several ponds, water steps and colorful plant beds. The ascent to the small hill then leads through a beautiful heath landscape, in which the often bizarrely growing conifers stand out with their different needle colors. From the hill with the pavilion, you have a fabulous view over the entire grounds. After a short walk, you reach the upper pond with the fountain.
