One of the most beautiful moated castles in the Weser Renaissance style, Neuhaus Castle, rises just outside the city of Paderborn amidst artfully restored parks based on historical models and framed by a lovingly renaturalized river landscape, the Pader, Lippe and Alme meadows. Where prince-bishops once resided and celebrated their glittering feasts, visitors today find an attractive park landscape that invites them to relax and enjoy, take a walk and linger.
