The Egge-Nord forest reserve stretches from the Durbeke to the Eggekamm ridge and is of European-wide importance for the protection of species and biotopes. Impressive landscapes reward you for the climb up to the Drei Linden.

The nature reserve is located to the north of Altenbeken. An ideal starting point is the hiking parking lot on the L755 ("Am Hammer") between Altenbeken and Neuenbeken.
