Art in Public Spaces
There are various art installations throughout the city:
- Artistic electrical boxes: On “Lange Straße,” more than 25 artists have decorated electrical boxes with works ranging from watercolors to photography. Information about the motifs and the artists can be accessed via smartphone using integrated QR codes.
- Facade murals: Large-scale murals characterize the cityscape, such as the 30-square-meter depiction of Bacchus, the god of wine, at Weinhaus Schmidt.
- Other installations: Artistic objects can also be found in flower beds and on walls.

- The works of art are distributed throughout the city center. Therefore, the parking lots under the Weser bridge, in the Grund and the Oelmühlen parking lot are ideal.
